تعد الأجهزة التشخيصية أحد أشهر أنواع المنتجات الطبية التي لا يمكن الاستغناء عنها سواء في المستشفيات أو العيادات الخاصة، إذ تساعد هذه الأجهزة في تشخيص المرض بشكل دقيق وسريع. كما أنها ساهمت في تطور الطب عبر الزمن من خلال المساعدة على تشخيص واكتشاف أنواع جديدة من الأمراض، التي حيرت الأطباء ولم يتمكنوا من تشخيصها واكتشافها قبل وجود هذه الأجهزة. على سبيل المثال:

على عكس الأجهزة التشخيصية، تستخدم الأجهزة العلاجية لعلاج بعض الأمراض الصعبة والمزمنة. كما يتمتع هذا النوع من المنتجات الطبية بأهمية كبيرة نظرًا لتطوره الكبير والمستمر، ولكونه يساعد في توفير العلاج الذي يسرع من شفاء المريض، الذي لم تساعده الأدوية العادية وتستدعي حالته استخدام هذه الأجهزة. على سبيل المثال:
- جهاز منظم ضربات القلب.
- جهاز الصدمات الكهربائية.
- أجهزة غسيل الكلى.
- جهاز الأوعية الاصطناعية.

أجهزة العلاج الحراري من أنواع المنتجات الطبية
تساعد هذه الأجهزة في علاج العديد من الحالات المرضية، إذ تخفف بشكل كبير من الآلام ومن الممكن أن تشفيها بشكل تام، وتوجد في أغلب المستشفيات و بعض المراكز الطبية الخاصة. كما يكون المدى الحراري للجهاز ما بين 40 إلى 44 بحيث تكون درجة الحرارة الصادرة منه مناسبة لاستخدامه في علاج الألم، أو تيبس المفاصل.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فإنه يتم استخدام هذا المنتج الطبي لعلاج حالات التهاب المفاصل والروماتيزم والروماتويد. ولكن لا يتم استخدامه عند وجود جرح مفتوح أو حرق في المنطقة المصابة كي لا يحدث أي ضرر.

أجهزة العيون من أنواع المنتجات الطبية
وجد الأطباء منذ قديم الزمان صعوبًة كبيرة في كشف وتشخيص بعض الحالات الصعبة التي تصيب العيون، إلى أن ظهرت أجهزة علاج العيون التي تعد أحد أشهر المنتجات الطبية الحديثة والمتطورة، والتي أحدثت نقلًة نوعية في مجال طب العيون، ومن أهم هذه الأجهزة. على سبيل المثال:
- جهاز الليزر الذي يستخدم لعلاج القزحية وارتفاع ضغط الدم في العين.
- كما يعد جهاز Tonometr من اهم الأجهزة التي تقيس مقدار ضغط العين.

- جهاز فحص قوة الإبصار سواء من مسافة قريبة أو بعيدة.
- بالإضافة إلى ذلك، جهاز الموجات الصوتية الذي يكتشف وجود أي نزيف في العين.
أجهزة الأسنان من المنتجات الطبية
تعد أجهزة علاج الأسنان أحد أنواع المنتجات الطبية التي لا يمكن بتاتًا الاستغناء عنها في عيادة طبيب الأسنان، إذ لا يمكن لأي طبيب أسنان القيام بعمله أو إجراء أي فحص أو علاج دون هذه الأجهزة، ومن أشهرها. على سبيل المثال:
- Dental Unit الذي يتألف من كرسي ومصباح وأماكن مخصصة لحمل أدوات الطبيب.
- Sterilizer جهاز التعقيم الذي يتم فيه تعقيم كافة الأدوات التي يستخدمها الطبيب في الكشف على المرضى. كما يتم التعقيم باستخدام الهواء الساخن. أو بالبخار.
- جهاز خلط الحشوات الذي يتفاعل مع المواد والزئبق ليعطي حشو لين يجف بعد إخراجه من الجهاز.
- جهاز أشعة الأسنان الذي يخترق الأسنان وعظام الفك ليلتقط الألم ويحقق مكان تواجده بدقة. لذلك فهو يتمتع بأهمية كبيرة نظرًا لكونه يوفر الكثير من الوقت مقارنًة بالفحص التقليدي.
- بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يوجد جهاز الحشو الضوئي الذي يجفف الحشو باستخدام ضوء مكثف وبسرعة كبيرة.
أجهزة القلب من المنتجات الطبية

المنتجات الطبية المتدنية النوعية، المزورة أو المغشوشة هي منتجات يصعب كشفها حيث تكون قد صممت لتبدو كالمنتج الأصلي. ولكنها في الغالب لا تعالج المرض بشكل تام ومن الممكن أن تكون ضارة وقاتلة أيضًا، إذ يزيد حجم هذه المنتجات عن 920 منتج حول العالم. كما يمكن كشف هذه المنتجات من خلال التحقق من ظروف إنتاجها وتاريخ صلاحيتها، أو من خلال شكل المنتج ورائحته ولونه في حال كان دواءً.
