القمح من المنتجات الغذائية الأكثر استهلاكا في العراق

يعد القمح من أكثر المنتجات الغذائية استهلاكا في دولة العراق، خاصةً وأن القمح يعد المادة الأساسية لصنع الخبز العراقي. الذي تعتمد عليه أغلب العائلات العراقية. فضلًا عن احتوائه على أهم العناصر الغذائية لصحة الإنسان. كذلك فقد وصل معدل استهلاك دولة العراق من مادة القمح إلى ما يقارب 4,600,000 طن سنويًا. والجدير ذكره هنا أن إنتاج دولة العراق من مادة القمح لا يسد احتياجاتها فهي من الدول المنتجة للقمح، ولكن إنتاجها لا يغطي حجم استهلاكها. حيث تنتج سنويًا ما يقارب 3,052,939 طن من مادة القمح. كما يتم استخدام ما يقارب 60% من إنتاجها من مادة القمح في صنع الدقيق الذي يعد المكون الأساسي للخبز العراقي. في حين يستخدم القش المستخرج من القمح كعلف للمواشي.

تحتل الخضار والفواكه المركز الثاني بين أكثر المنتجات الغذائية التي يستهلكها العراقيون، وهذا بفضل غناها بالفيتامينات والمعادن الضرورية لصحة الإنسان ومناعته. في حين تعد البطاطا بنوعيها المالحة والحلوة من أكثر أنواع الخضار استهلاكا في العراق. حيث يتم استهلاك ما يقارب 65,000,000 طن من البطاطا كل عام. كما قدر معدل استهلاك الفرد العراقي للبطاطا ب 2,8 كيلو من البطاطا شهريًا. بالإضافة إلى وجود استهلاك كبير جدًا لأنواع الخضار الأخرى كالباذنجان والسلق والسبانخ والكوسا.

الفواكه من المنتجات الغذائية الأكثر استهلاكا في العراق

نظرًا لغنا الفواكه بالفيتامينات الهامة للجسم كذلك المعادن، فإن الشعب العراقي يستهلك كميات كبيرة من الفواكه، وقد قدر معدل استهلاك الفرد العراقي للفواكه من 4 إلى 5 كيلو شهريًا بكافة أنواعها المجففة والطازجة والمعلبة. والجدير ذكره هنا أن أكثر أنواع الفواكه المستهلكة في العراق هو التفاح يليه التين كذلك المشمش والدراق والموز والكيوي.

الأسماك والدواجن من أكثر المنتجات الغذائية استهلاكا في العراق

يستهلك الشعب العراقي كميات كبيرة من اللحوم البيضاء سواء من الأسماك أو الدواجن. ويعود ذلك نتيجة الكثافة السكانية الكبيرة الحاصلة في دولة العراق، كذلك لفوائدها العظيمة التي تقدمها. وقد قدر معدل استهلاك الفرد العراقي من اللحوم البيضاء ما يقارب 21 كيلو غرام سنويًا. في حين يصل إنتاج دولة العراق من الدواجن ما يقارب 105,000 طن سنويًا. بينما يصل إنتاجها من الأسماك البحرية والنهرية ما يقارب 59,000 طن سنويًا.

اللحوم الحمراء من المنتجات الغذائية الأكثر استهلاكا في العراق

يستهلك الشعب العراقي كميات كبيرة من اللحوم الحمراء فهي بمثابة غذاء أساسي لديهم. ووفقًا للإحصائيات الأخيرة فقد ارتفع معدل الطلب على اللحوم في العراق وذلك نتيجة ارتفاع أعداد السكان كذلك الوافدين. وقد قدر معدل استهلاك الفرد العراقي من اللحوم الحمراء ما يقارب 15 كيلو غرام من اللحم الأحمر سنويًا. في حين يبلغ إنتاج العراق من اللحوم الحمراء ما بين أبقار وأغنام ما يقارب 112,000 طن سنويًا.

العراق من أكثر البلدان استهلاكا للأرز في العالم

يحتل العراق المركز العاشر من بين أكثر الدول المستوردة للأرز في العالم. فبحسب منظمة الأغذية والزراعة العالمية “الفاو“، فإن دولة العراق استوردت حوالي 1.8 مليون طن من الأرز خلال العام الماضي 2022. حيث بلغ معدل استهلاك الفرد الواحد من الأرز حوالي 37 كيلو غرام سنويًا. في حين لا يمكن معرفة كمية إنتاج دولة العراق من الأرز، وذلك لعدم وجود البيانات الكافية لما يخص مساحة الأرض المزروعة بالأرز فيها. والجدير ذكره هنا أن إنتاج العراق من الأرز في السنتين الماضيتين وصل إلى 300 ألف طن في كل عام. وهنا نود الإشارة إلى أن مادة الأرز من المنتجات الغذائية التي يتم توزيعها ضمن مفردات البطاقة التموينية، فهي أحد الأطباق الأساسية للشعب العراقي. كما أن الأرز العنبر والذي يزرع في العراق يعتبر أحد أرقى أصناف الأرز عالميًا، إلا أن كمية إنتاجه غير كافية لتغطية احتياجات الشعب العراقي.

العراق ثاني أكثر الدول هدرا للطعام

احتلت دولة العراق المركز الثاني من بين أكثر الدول هدرًا للطعام في منطقة آسيا الوسطى وذلك بعد البحرين. في حين يقوم الفرد العراقي بهدر ما يقارب 120 كيلوغرام من الطعام سنويًا، وهذا ما يعادل 5 مليون طن من الطعام. وهذا بسبب النمط الغذائي الخاص الذي يتميز به الشعب العراقي عن غيره من الشعوب في دول المنطقة. حيث يوجد هدر كبير للغذاء في المطاعم والمنازل والمناسبات الدينية كذلك الزيارات والتي يتم فيها طبخ كميات كبيرة من الطعام، وقد تستغرق الولائم الجماعية عدة أيام.

 

الأمن الغذائي في العراق

وفقًا لمنظمة الأغذية والزراعة الدولية “الفاو” فإن الأمن الغذائي يقصد به: توفير الغذاء لكافة أفراد المجتمع بالكمية والنوعية التي تساعدهم على تأمين احتياجاتهم بشكل مستمر من أجل البقاء. حيث إن أساس تحقيق الأمن الغذائي هو بقاء وجود المواد الغذائية. وتبعًا للإحصائيات الأخيرة فإن حالة الأمن الغذائي في العراق ليست جيدة، وذلك نتيجة التأثيرات العالمية للحرب الأوكرانية الروسية. فهما البلدين الموردين الرئيسيين للغذاء، فضلًا عن أن روسيا وأوكرانيا مسؤولتان عن حوالي ثلث العرض العالمي للقمح، كما أنهما أكثر الدول إنتاجًا وتصديرًا لزيت دوار الشمس.
وبما أن العراق دولة مستوردة للغذاء وغير منتجة فإن تكلفة المنتجات الغذائية الأساسية وغير الغذائية تتأثر بشكل كبير بتغيرات الأسعار العالمية. وبحسب تصريحات منظمة الأغذية والزراعة الدولية “الفاو”، فإن ارتفاع أسعار المنتجات الغذائية الأساسية له تأثير مباشر على القوة الشرائية للمواطنين العراقيين. خصوصًا أصحاب الدخل المحدود والطبقة الفقيرة والتي تعتمد على القوت اليومي في حياتها. في حين لم يتم تعديل معدلات الأجور خلال السنوات الماضية، وبنفس الوقت ساهمت الحرب الأوكرانية الروسية بتفاقم تدهور حالة الأمن الغذائي في دولة العراق.
